How It Works

Emails sent to your haigh.rocks address are automatically forwarded to your Gmail account. You just need to set up Gmail to send emails from your haigh.rocks address.

Setup Instructions for Gmail

Add Your haigh.rocks Email as a Sending Address

  1. Open Gmail and click the gear icon in the top right, then select See all settings
  2. Go to the Accounts and Import tab
  3. In the "Send mail as" section, click Add another email address
  4. Enter your name as you want it to appear in emails
  5. Enter your haigh.rocks email address
  6. Uncheck "Treat as an alias" (optional, but recommended)
  7. Click Next Step
  8. Enter the following SMTP settings:
SMTP Server: email-smtp.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com
Port: 587 (or 465 for SSL)
Username: Your SMTP credentials (contact the administrator)
Password: Your SMTP password (contact the administrator)
Security: TLS (or SSL if using port 465)
  1. Click Add Account
  2. Gmail will send a verification email to your haigh.rocks address. Since emails are forwarded to your Gmail, check your inbox for the verification code
  3. Enter the verification code and click Verify
Note: You'll need your SMTP credentials (username and password) to send emails. If you don't have these yet, please contact the administrator.

Set as Default (Optional)

To make your haigh.rocks email the default address for sending:

  1. Go back to Gmail Settings → Accounts and Import
  2. In the "Send mail as" section, click make default next to your haigh.rocks address
